Handwriting

Dyslexic children sometimes have problems with handwriting.
When learning to read, children first have to link the shape of the word on the page with the sound it makes. Then, when it comes to writing, they have to recreate that shape back onto paper. For children with dyslexia, decoding these patterns and making these links can often be very difficult. As a result, they frequently fail to develop the automatic flow of writing which will help them to express themselves clearly and easily in writing.

Pictures above are Imran's handwriting in year of 2011 when he is 10 years old :-) ...it looks like a 7 years old handwriting right? Being dyslexic the handwriting is not perfect...but i think good enough as long as he can read what he had written.
There's a story behind the handwriting actually. The pictures were taken by Imran himself using my phone's camera. He was doing his homework on shapes...and the homework is repetitive from one page to another. To save his time from flipping the pages, he took the pictures of his own handwriting in the previous page, and use it as a reference for the next page....i was amazed...what come to my mind for his action was creative thinking and the ability to overcome the weaknesses. He knew spelling is the least "favourite" department in his brain thus taking pictures solves the problem....and using the phone's camera as a medium....all that was done at his own effort and will....awesome isn't it?
